Culture War by mattsteinglass

Thinking over it, the basic thing that I think will stick about this speech is that Sarah Palin is a culture war candidate. She pits small towns against cities, implicitly assuming that small towns care mostly about abortion, guns, and religion, and big cities don’t. She appears to have no economic agenda. But the main thing is tone. It was a sarcastic, dismissive, sneering speech, in a Rush Limbaugh tone of voice. And that’s where we’re going to go over the next few days.

Also, this probably marks the end of the Bristol story.
